Why choose Dr. De Hoyos, DPT

Dr. De Hoyos, DPT, is a recognized healthcare professional, who, for the past 20 years, has treated patients on multiple health care levels, in hospital organizations and outpatient clinic care, with issues such as neuromuscular re-education, sports injuries, post-surgical procedures, and pain management.

He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University, in Illinois, in 2005, where he began gaining experience as physical therapist in a variety of settings, working with a wide spectrum of clients with different orthopedic conditions, from pediatric to geriatric age.

See the Difference

Through his years of experience, he has developed his own approach to wellness that highlights the fact that physical therapy is a mix of science and healing, a HANDS-ON approach that combines the best manual techniques available with traditional therapeutic activities. Physical therapy is also a collaboration between the physical therapist and the patient, that is why Dr. De Hoyos takes the time to understand each patient's need for recovery, their health and fitness goals, and what outcomes they wish to see at the end of their treatment. After a thorough evaluation, he offers patients guidance on their own customized exercise program, tracks each patient's progress and sets functional goals for each individual according to their functional limitations, bearing in mind the optimization of their outcome.
